Four killed, 30 injured in blast in northwest Pakistan

Peshawar: At least four people were killed and 30 others injured today in a blast near a crowded bus stand in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan.

The blast took place in Mingora, capital of Swat, where tourists are being encouraged to visit by the government.

The injured have been shifted to Saidu Group of hospitals, where an emergency has been declared.

All shops and markets shut down following the explosion, for which no group so far claimed responsibility.
Security forces have cordoned off the area.
